Results-focused practices for people who want to actually do better, not just make numbers look good.

I work with:

Leaders, chiefs of staff, and solopreneurs focused on improving human experiences and outcomes.

Who need:

Efficient, effective ways to quickly align and measurably improve performance.

I help them:

  • Make more strategic decisions, by distilling the most important information teams need to execute down to a single piece of paper

  • Establish a shared language for high-performance goal setting, from the CEO to the summer intern

  • Improve employee engagement and impact by connecting the dots on how their work matters.

CEOs, Founders, and Board Leaders

You want to be an influential changemaker—not just dreaming of a better future, but shaping it. You’re struggling to inspire buy-in, and you need a playbook that brings clarity, tracks progress, and aligns your people.

Your Solution:

  • Relentless Focus on Execution: Get real-time visibility into what’s working (and what’s not), so you can course-correct early, protect your strategic investments, and ensure your priorities translate into measurable results—not just activity or busywork

  • Leadership by Example: We help you and your leadership team “walk the talk” of OKRs, modeling best practices from day one.

  • No-BS, No Fluff: Get practical, evidence-based support that delivers results, not just theory.

Force Multipliers and Chiefs of Staff

You’re the strategic glue—responsible for cross-functional alignment, surfacing risks, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. But you’re stuck playing “whack-a-mole” with urgent issues, and you need a system that brings clarity and accountability.

Your Solution:

  • Line of Sight: Get immediate visibility into risks and progress so you can proactively address obstacles before they derail strategy.

  • Alignment Without Overwhelm: Streamline communication and expectations across teams, reducing confusion and duplicated effort.

  • Sustainable Systems: Implement a repeatable OKR process that you can own and scale, not just a one-off workshop.

Are you a Chief of Staff, or do you work in a Chief of Staff-like role?

If so, I would love to hear from you! Please take this brief Chief of Staff professional development survey to help inform an upcoming FREE four-week Goal Fridays series, just for Chiefs!

Mission-Driven, Movement-Building Solopreneurs and Entrepreneurs

You're building something that matters—whether it's a social impact venture, a movement for change, or a business aligned with your deepest values. But you're struggling to balance the urgent daily demands with the important long-term vision. You need goal-setting that keeps your mission front and center while ensuring you're making measurable progress toward sustainable impact.

Your Solution:

  • Mission-Aligned Goal Architecture: Create OKRs that honor your values while driving business results, so you never have to choose between doing good and doing well.

  • Sustainable Growth Framework: Build momentum without burnout by setting stretch goals that energize rather than overwhelm, with built-in reflection and adjustment periods.

  • Impact Measurement Made Achievable: Track meaningful progress on both mission and business outcomes using metrics that matter to you and your stakeholders—not just vanity numbers.

  • Solo- and Startup-Friendly Implementation: Get OKR practices designed for lean teams and individual contributors, without the bureaucracy of corporate frameworks.

  • Scaffold Values-Based Decision Making: Use OKRs as a filter for opportunities, partnerships, and strategic choices that align with your purpose and move your mission forward.

  • Community and Accountability: Connect with like-minded entrepreneurs and receive ongoing support to stay focused on what matters most when the world tries to pull you in every direction.

We also offer OKR support for:

  • You’re responsible for translating vision into execution. But ambitious plans get lost in the shuffle, and you need a way to ensure strategy drives real, measurable outcomes.

    Your Solution:

    • From Vision to Action: Move your strategy out of decks and docs into an operating rhythm that delivers results.

    • Data-Driven Progress: Track what matters, learn from what isn’t working, and iterate for continuous improvement.

    • Culture of Accountability: Foster organization-wide buy-in, so everyone is rowing in the same direction.

  • As an HR, DEI, or learning and development leader, you’re responsible for shaping culture, fostering engagement, and aligning people practices with organizational strategy. You want OKRs to drive more than compliance—you want them to support equity, belonging, and real growth. But you’re wary of frameworks that feel like “extra work” or that don’t address the root causes of performance and culture challenges.

    Your Solution:

    • Culture-First OKRs: Learn how OKRs can reinforce your values, build psychological safety, and empower every employee—not just top performers.

    • Bridge the Gap: See how OKRs can complement performance management, DEI, and engagement initiatives, creating clarity and autonomy without sacrificing accountability.

    • Behavior Change, Not Just Metrics: Get practical tools to shift mindsets and habits, so OKRs become a lever for inclusion, innovation, and well-being.

    • Iterative, Human-Centered Learning: Receive ongoing support as you refine your approach, address friction points, and measure impact beyond financial metrics.

  • You need OKR training that will align your organization on an efficient and effective approach to Objectives and Key Results — so they can focus on goal achievement, not be distracted by misalignment on the methodology itself. You need an OKR expert your team will listen to, learn with, and trust — whether they’re enthusiastic early adopters or skeptical hold-outs.

    Your Solution:

    • Expert-Led Training That Actually Sticks: Get comprehensive OKR training from a Master Coach who's trained 2,000+ coaches across 300+ organizations—with follow-up support to ensure adoption takes hold beyond the initial workshop.

    • Skeptic-to-Champion Conversion: Receive proven frameworks for addressing resistance and building buy-in, so even your most hesitant team members become OKR advocates who see the value firsthand.

    • Ready-to-Use Implementation Tools: Walk away with templates, OKR core team guides, and step-by-step processes you can immediately deploy—no need to reinvent the wheel or spend months building your own materials.

    • Measurable Learning Outcomes: Track not just training completion but actual behavior change and goal achievement improvements, so you can demonstrate real ROI to leadership.

    • Ongoing Coaching Support: Get continued access to expert guidance as questions arise during implementation, ensuring your team stays on track and builds confidence in the methodology.

    • Customized to Your Culture: Receive training tailored to your organization's specific challenges, industry context, and existing performance management systems—not generic, one-size-fits-all content.

  • You're responsible for making OKRs actually work in your organization—not just implementing them, but ensuring they drive real results. You're caught between leadership expectations for immediate impact and the reality of organizational change taking time. You need practical tools to navigate politics, overcome resistance, and create sustainable momentum while proving the program's value every quarter.

    Your Solution:

    • Proven Implementation Roadmap: Get a step-by-step guide for rolling out OKRs that anticipates common pitfalls and provides specific tactics for each phase—from pilot programs to organization-wide adoption.

    • Change Management Arsenal: Access frameworks for building coalition support, addressing resistance, and maintaining momentum when the initial enthusiasm wanes.

    • Real-Time Troubleshooting Support: Receive ongoing coaching to navigate specific challenges as they arise—whether it's resistant departments, unclear leadership direction, or mid-course corrections.

    • Data That Tells the Story: Learn how to track and communicate program impact in ways that resonate with different stakeholders, from executive dashboards to team-level progress updates.

    • Sustainable Systems Design: Build OKR processes that can run without constant intervention, freeing you to focus on optimization rather than firefighting.

    • Political Navigation Tools: Get practical strategies for managing competing priorities, unclear expectations, and the inevitable "this isn't working" conversations that arise during implementation.

What to look for in an OKR coach and consultant

  • It’s not essential to find someone who understands the nuances of your industry, but it is helpful to work with an OKR coach and consultant who has worked with a variety of industries and team levels, who’s been able to spot patterns and create solutions to make OKR adoption easier for clients.

An expert OKR coach and consultant should have an understanding of OKR methodology options, common pitfalls, and success patterns.

  • Creating OKRs is only the first step — the benefit of OKRs actually comes from the hard work of changing behavior to build trust, psychological safety, conflict competence, truth-telling, and other behaviors that aren’t often effectively or actively nurtured at work.

An expert OKR coach and consultant has knowledge and expertise in change management and team dynamics in addition to human behavior, organizational behavior, and behavior change facilitation.

  • It’s not uncommon for client work to require confidentiality, but an expert OKR coach and consultant should be able to share examples of client success — not just testimonials about how nice they are to work with.

Notice whether they tend toward new implementation support (onboarding) vs. optimization and right-tracking of troubled OKR implementations (reboots) depending on your own situation.

Look for someone who tracks the effectiveness of their coaching and can demonstrate real results, not just completed workshops.

  • While some OKR fundamentals remain consistent, an expert OKR coach and consultant recognizes that implementation must be tailored to your organization's culture, existing systems, and specific challenges.

They should spend time understanding your current strategy, goal-setting practices, team dynamics, and organizational constraints before prescribing solutions.

Rather than forcing you to fit into a rigid framework, they adapt their approach to work within your reality — whether that's integrating with existing performance management systems, working with existing OKRs and strategy, or triaging and getting creative about shared language that’s in use now or may need to be clarified.

  • The most critical phase of OKR adoption often happens after the initial training or setup, when teams encounter real-world challenges and resistance.

An expert OKR coach and consultant provides continued guidance through the inevitable implementation bumps — helping navigate competing priorities, address skeptical team members, and troubleshoot when OKRs aren't driving the expected results.

This ongoing coaching relationship ensures that OKR adoption sticks and evolves, rather than becoming another abandoned initiative when the initial enthusiasm wanes.

OKR Coach and Consulting FAQs

  • Most of our engagements blend coaching and consulting seamlessly for clients. The biggest difference is administrative: OKR coaching is time-based; OKR consulting is typically provided on a bundled service basis for a single flat fee per quarter for onboarding, and a reduced fee for ongoing support after onboarding is complete.

    A few other nuances:

    OKR Coaching:

    • Blends executive and OKR coaching to provide ongoing relationship and support

    • Skill development for individuals/teams

    • Regular check-ins and guidance

    • Best for: Developing OKR expertise and capability for your participating team members

    OKR Consulting:

    • Strategic implementation and setup support for your organization at scale

    • Organizational design and rollout, including reconciliation of OKRs and your existing strategy and performance management approaches

    • Bespoke systems and process development

    • Best for: Organizations launching OKRs with plans to scale them beyond one team or level of leadership

    • Duration: Project-based onboarding typically lasts 1-2 quarters, followed by ongoing maintenance if the client needs and wishes.

  • Cost for OKR-related services varies widely, especially because there are so many different models for support. OKR platforms may offer strategic services in bundles with their software, but many OKR implementers prefer to focus first on methodology adoption and then choose a tool that will fit their organization’s methodology approach instead of vice versa.

We charge based on a menu of products and services, adjusted for organization size and depth of localization/cascading planned.

Variable service levels are available for when clients require higher-touch, more hands-on individualized support. When clients are on a budget, some services can be delivered as cohort-based workshops or even self-paced online learning to reduce cost.

Discounts are available for mission-aligned projects.

Once a client chooses No-BS OKRs and wants to work with us, we are almost always able to find alignment with client budgets.

For more information about our pricing models, and a tool that lets you request a ballpark estimate based on your organization size and scope, please visit our pricing transparency page.

  • OKR creation can take as little as 90 minutes, or as much as 4-6 hours of working time.

OKR onboarding engagements are scoped by the quarter, with 1-2 intensive quarters to ramp up, followed by ongoing support/maintenance when desired.

Most clients work with us for between six months and multiple years; but the client time investment is as efficient as possible (by design).

  • We measure our success by the goals set with clients — since what’s most important is clients achieving their goals.

The metric that gets us out of bed in the morning on behalf of clients is the:

“I know how my work matters”

    or

“I know how my work connects to strategy”

question on client employee engagement surveys.

That metric is multivariable, but it’s important enough that even if we don’t control the outcome, we work hard to ensure that number goes up for clients.

  • Absolutely! Reboots and turnarounds are a core part of our consulting practice. Often, even during the pre-sale process, we’re able to spot common pitfalls that are relatively easy to address to help quickly right-track struggling implementations.

We’ve even had success working with organizations whose implementations were so far off the rails that we had to “rebrand” OKRs and relaunch to get things back on track.

A clear set of words and meanings, simple examples and cheat-sheets, and a few core principles can make a world of difference in your struggling OKR implementation.

  • We have experience with OKR platforms, but focus on methodology adoption. Clients who have successful methodology adoptions make better and more informed decisions about OKR tool selection, and often see higher tool adoption and usage.

Our work lays the foundation for a successful OKR platform adoption and roll-out.

We do have friendly and collegial relationships with many OKR platforms since we’re all part of the same community of practice, so when clients have questions about tool selection we’re able to point them to reputable platforms — but we don’t make formal referrals (or have any formal partnerships) with platforms at this time.

Your strategy and big goals are too important to fail,
but trying to inspire people to support your vision is exhausting.

A lovely woman with wiry curly grey hair sits at an office desk, her chin resting on one hand, as she looks out the window. Her hair is curly and wild, and salt and pepper in color. Her arms are strong.

I know you want to be an influential changemaker who not only dreams of a better future, but actively shapes it. To do this, you need a playbook that brings clarity to your vision, tracks your progress, and aligns others to your cause — because true change is never a solo effort.

The problem is, traditional business strategies and goal-setting methodologies are often more about lofty concepts than practical application. They assume a level of privilege and power that not all possess, leaving you feeling stranded in your desire for impactful change.

I believe that every changemaker deserves tools that are theoretically sound and practically effective.

That's why I’ve made it my mission to develop an OKR approach that drives human-centered business results. This approach enhances organizational growth, fosters a culture of trust and safety, and nurtures a mindset of continuous learning and balance.
